just thought i'd post this here! A Fan's Perspective Ready in 10 has received quite a bit of publicity from various music oriented magazines. From their performances in local bars to their recent video release, there has been nothing but praise and acknowledgement of their talent. All this being said, I think it's time we heard from a fan's perspective. This is not a biased review of any means, stating how great they are just because I am a fan. This is about the music Ready in 10 plays and how absolutely hooked people become after they see a performance. For my birthday I went to see a concert. The concert ended early and I was not yet ready to go home. Having heard of Ready in 10 and knowing a few of the band members from another band I enjoyed, I figured let's check them out and see what they are all about. From the first song to the last I was in awe. The way the chemistry of the band captivates the crowd is truly a sight to be seen. Each song is different and you can't help but want to sing along and be a part of the energy that surrounds the group. I had to buy the CD and listen as much as I could. Although the CD itself is amazing, I found that the live performances were the key to this bands success. Not only are they extremely talented, but, together there is a chemistry that is hard to describe. They really know how to work a crowd and feed off of the energy put out by the hundreds watching and singing. At their recent video release for "One More Chance", I had the opportunity to talk with Sal, lead vocalist. He was so proud and amazed at the success of the band's dream come true. He said to me, "You can't possibly imagine how this feels. Just think about it, you're lying in bed and have a few thoughts. You write them down. The next thing you know two hundred people are singing your songs!" No, I could'nt imagine. From Sal's unique vocals, Marc's ability to make a guitar cry, Jim's percussion that will give you chills when he gets going, and Mike's intoxicating bass, that will get you dancing, this band has no choice to be successful. They have very loyal fans and, in turn, they are loyal to their fans. They thank their fans every chance they get. Not only are they talented, but genuinely a "good" group of guys. In conclusion, I would just like to state that this band is well on it's way to being a huge success. It shows everytime they perform and recruit more and more fans. I am proud to be a fan and friend of such a talented and well grounded group. I am looking forward to hearing their songs on the radio and saying wow....I know them!
