Hey Linda, I love your music, especially Better Woman. I just noticed your banner photo. I believe that's a painting by Memphis artist, Lamar Sorrento. He's a pretty well known painter of musicians around here. Do you know him?
Hi, Robin. Thank you for your comment about "Better Woman." I wrote it as a response to "Better Man" by Clint Black. I was at the Grand Ole Opry when he performed it for the first time. I am OLD, hahaha! As for the banner art, no I do not know Lamar. I saw it online years ago but no name was attached. When I saw your message, just now, I went to your music--I love "Delta Skyline"--I grew up in South MS, but Oxford and that area in North MS is my favorite. Many good musicians there. Have you ever been to the North MS Hill Picnic in June? It is AMAZING! Alvin Youngblood Hart has played there, as well as Kenny Brown.
