When My Son just turned 17 yrs old he decided he wanted to be his 16 yr old girlfriends Hero, to get her away from her Drunken Daddy! He takes a car from a former employer of mine, got his girlfriend and her twin sister and they end up in Alabama headed to his Daddy's in Atlanta, Ga., during their adventure those kids got desparate for money so they had a plan, whatever!! they decided to snatch a woman's purse from a Walmart parking lot take it and run, but they didn't consider the woman putting up a struggle, being in Alburn Alabama my son chose of all people the Art Professor of Auburn University, she drew a composite of my son and put it in the local and surrounding area newspapers, the next day he was spotted and it was called in, there was a 25 mile chase on a 4 lane highway with 20 police officers involved, my son didn't even have his drivers lisense yet, he sideswiped a tractor trailer and ran off the road, jumped out of the car and ran, they finally caught him! Now were talking about an Owen County, Ky. Farm Boy! The Borrowed Lincoln Towncar in the song CHAIN GANG BLUES was the car he was driving, i wrote that song when he called me after being busting Limestone Rock with a 30lb. hammer on the chain gang 2 months with 4 more to go, he said Moma, i gotta get off of this chain gang, so i wrote the song in 15 minutes, 6 years later when my son just turned 23 he wrote LIMESTONE PRISON....he sent it to me and ask ma would you put the music to it! My Son spent 7 years out of a 30 year sentence for scraping that womans elbow! They called it Bodily Harm, and he drove a stolen car across state line which the car owner didn't press charges because he felt it was his fault for leaving the keys in it, he was more worried about those kids he would say, My Son is 40 yrs old now, has a family of his own, and has two sons! They do follow in their Good Daddy's Foot Steps! Kenneth was in the last unit of inmates that where in The Alabama State Prison System Chain Gang, he said imagine that!! ;) I was born and raised in Frankfort, Ky. have been playing guitar since I was 8 years old and writing songs plus the tune since I was 13, like to have an upcoming or seasoned artist to maybe record some of my music..but anyway...SONGWRITING is what I'am all about!
