I know you can't hear me, so this reply may be silly, but you would have never have thought so. I still can't believe that you are gone. I cherish our 20+ year friendship. It's devastatingly sad when a talented musical genius leaves us too soon. You were so brilliant. One of the best. Not many got to witness how talented you were in playing classical too. When creating on the fly, I could just hum a few bars with a beat to it and you could create something right on spot. You were always so kind to me, always so patient, always listened to my writings/stories, and gave me honest input... and you were always wanting to make sure I was ok. You have a lot of music out there for people to still listen to. I will miss you forever Doug. You were one of the best friends that I've ever had, and I'll never forget you for many reasons. Lot's of good times! I found your cards and letters in a drawer recently and it was bittersweet. I know you are making music with the angels now. Love never dies, it lives on and on. and you touched so many lives! A person was blessed if they got to just meet you and spend smaller amounts of time...they would never be the same after meeting you, because you absolutely loved people. I am just rambling on a page where you will never know what I am writing...but you knew. And I am just so sorry that you are gone. Me and many more will love you and never forget you.
