Thanks its a hybrid (aren't most all of then these days?) mostly Sonar but I have a kick ass Taye snare with wooden hoops. Also I had Jerry Garcia (drum builder in Seattle) make me a matching 10" tom cause the kit didn't come with one. Also Check out Billdidit drum gadgets. I love the magnetic Hat clutch. ~Vern
