The Birth of the New Music Industry

They say Bloggin is the new media outlet, so let this be the first installment into the birth of the new music industry. Musical talent is like a natural resource and the music industry seem to be exhausting that resource in all it favorite drilling ground. All we seem to be getting these days is TV and radio manufactured musical artist. Clones if you will, all clones, how many Lil Waynes do we need, for goodness sake please just admire Jay-Z stop trying to be him, and I swear we don’t need another 2 Pac. 17 million rappers….17 million rappers and 98% are clones. I understand influences, I understand being inspired, but I can’t comprehend mimicking, or being a copy cat. The lack of originality in the industry is killing me and what’s even sadder is that the youth of today was born into this rubbish idea of musical conformity. Then these half ass so called rapper claim to be the greatest rapper alive, with they’re metaphor filled concoctions of lyrical bullshit. How many time and ways can you find a new way to talk about money, guns, drugs, hoes, and cars? It seems that is a staple to be a rapper. Well if that is the case the fuck rap you can have the bull shit give me LYRIC’S. Here lets speak some truth, why is it that it so easy to learn these catchy hooks these days,…..because they are nursery rhymes and that’s how you teach a young simple minded child, I remember when raps where monumental like MLK’S I have a Dream speech, now there just effortless like Mary had a little lamb. The rappers have backed pedal to the beginning of rap, now the classic’s are in jeopardy of being over shadowed by they lack lust repetitive chants about materialistic BS. In the beginning of “hip-hop” rhyming was simplistic because it was a NEW art form. We evolved into Rakim and Public Enemy, we evolved into 2 Pac, Dr Dre, and Bone, we evolved into the Brother Al, Mr Lif, Cypress Hills, and Andre 3000’s we evolved. But it seems one day we woke up and hip-hop turned into a Geico commercial , case even a cave man can do it. Lets point out that the hip hop needs a recharge, and im here to scream it from the mountain top “ IT ‘S THE MOUNTAIN WEST”. If you ignore this you will wake up one day here soon and be bitch smacked it to the new face of hip hop, oh and to top it off, leading the way will be CSE, and I know I know you asking what makes CSE the army that will lead the way. Simple “ WE MAKE IT HAPPEN”!!!!!!! 80 ace and Mountain West Stand up….. let them hear your battle cry’s game time is over I am declaring war. Papa Mystchef
