When I first arrived on Reverbnation there was a lot of activity, musicians were swapping listens and feedback, fans were listening & leaving feedback; there was a definite positive vibe going, which inspired us all to keep it going!
When that dried up, the site went into freefall; I also think Reverbnation made changes that ruined the site’s potential even more so! Even so, I’ve always liked Reverbnation, and wish there was a way of reviving that proactivity.
It certainly is possible to create an oasis in what has become a desert, and that’s by creating a community, A FEEDBACK FAMILY!

Over the past two days I've been taking screenshots of the feedback #GROUNDGOD has been leaving HUNDREDS of you; ALL #FAKE--the same comments used over & over & over again, designed to bait you into lavishing praise on his music! I, too, have been suckered by his #SCAM & #SPAM!

Kind od reminds me about what happened in youtube years back. There was a great supportive community of people who shared music and commented all the time. It attreacted lots of other people who used to see popular independant musicians in the top like for today lists etc. Then youtube changed something and they would no longer turn up in lists like that and every smaller artist suddenly hardly got any more views. It completely killed the communities off and I noticed that over time so many of them just stopped posting and even making music. It was very sad.
