Everybody in all areas of the country need to go check out their local scene. That's where all the real music is, not on the radio or award shows or american idol but at your local bars. Find those good local bands that play original music and support the shit out of them cause they are the ones grinding it out in the real music industry. All that tv shit is make believe and when a real artists does make it, it's a rarity and good for them, but for the most part it's a bunch of untalented fakes that happened to be placed there. Any how find the original artists and bands in your local scene and do everything you can to help them out.
