Concert on 4/12/08 was phenomenal! I was set to work @ The Rock Night Club to promote Airbourne. They are a great band who is climbing the ladders of 'rock stardom' very quickly. I was excited to work it. I got extremely lucky with the rest of the lineup for the concert.
Minnesota's very own "Throw the Fight" gave a great performance to start the night out and get the energy rising for the rest of the evening.
StoneRider played next. It was the first time I had seen them play live, though I have been listening to them for only a short time, I couldn't wait to see them live. I wasn't disappointed - they were amazing and I've yet again found another band that is just as amazing on their album as they are live.
Next up are the guys who have totally stolen my and so many others' hearts. EndeverafteR. My sister and friend came with me and it was their first time seeing the band. They've been listening to me playing their album over and over and were very excited to see them live and have the chance to meet them. I think they are still on a buzz (lol). EndeverafteR brought the house down - and then some - like they have at every show of theirs I've been to. I was slightly disappointed that my favorite song didn't get played, but who knows maybe when they come up in May! The girls and I also had a fantastic time after the band played chatting and hanging out with each of them. Michael Grant (vocals/guitar) was his usual fun-loving flirty self. We didn't get much time to talk with Tommy (bass) but we made sure to get his signature both on shirts and on skin!! This was the first time I spent really much time with Kristan (guitar) and Eric (drums) but it was great cause they were really down to earth and easy to talk with...we just had real conversations about stuff that came to mind. It was nice. I figure we talked with the three of them (Michael, Eric, Kristan) on and off for a couple hours. We also got some great pics.
Last but of course not least, Airbourne played. It was also the first time seeing them live for me as well. It was great fun. They were high spirited, raising the energy in the club even more than I thought possible. The crowd was truly 'going wild'. On one song, Airbourne even had fans getting up on stage with them to dance around, it was a great sight to see. As part of my job while there I was handing out posters and keychains for Airbourne and trying to get as much feedback on what people thought of the show. I met some really incredible people doing this and even made a couple friends. I got noticed as a Toryn's Girl which, as always, makes me feel like I'm on cloud 9.
I've been sick lately and wasn't even sure if I was feeling up to going to the show. But I'm glad I went. My health is still poor and my doctors can't even estimate when things will be better....but the way I feel when I'm working with music in any way/shape/form....I feel free, happy, and healthier than ever.

Wow - what a night!!!! 1st group was Drift Affect - seen them before and they're pretty good, they have a unique sound that is easy to get into. 2nd group was new for me but I really like them: Scarlett Haze. Local to MN and the lead vocalist was female - gotta love women who rock :-) But the main event for me of course was Endeverafter. Amazing as usual!! They get you pumped up and moving and you find you'll have way too much energy for the rest of the night (just like me atm)!! Got to hear a new song from them which was really cool, I look forward to the new album coming out. Gotta love this group, they're making it big and I'll be following them every step of they way!!!!

Extremely excited!! Just got my ticket to see Endeverafter on 1/16/08. This will be the 2nd time I've seen them and all I can say is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! It's a little disappointing cause it looks like I'll rockin' out alone cause my buddies can't make it, but I guess it just means I'll have to rock out enough for them and me both. If anyone else who reads this is gonna be there (station4 in St Paul - doors open @ 6:00. All ages, cover is $8) then hit me up, it would be cool to meet new peeps!
