DreamTime
Prolog
I stood in a sunrise this morning,
My soul bare, my body tired,
My thoughts in a place long in the past,
And I remembered.
Of all things great and small,
I stand;
a solitary speck in the universe
As the gentle breeze of another soul
Passes through my life and
Touches my thoughts, leaving only memories,
I have to wonder, what really matters in the end.
I once again see my own mortality very clear.
A life journeys to the next existence,
And I feel the empty void that is left behind,
I stand in the wake of a parting spirit,
Who gives subtle farewells,
To those who will listen with there heart.
What really matters in the end?
I stood in a sunset tonight;
My soul bare, my body tired,
My thoughts far away,
And, I remembered;
Nothing else, I just remembered.
