What you may think about music....it's nothing like what I think...at all trust me. Music is my passion, my world, my life, my dream, my everyday reality, and most of all..my expression. Yea my preference in music is a wide range of rock from clasic rock like pink floyd to metal like slayer or morbid angel...or Van Halen to slipknot..or Led Zeppelin to Amon Amarth. I have Probably over a hundred bands that I enjoy everyday, every mood. Some people think that they are musically inclined because this listen to music a lot..well I have news..no your not. Musical inclination comes when music can come from within, several different ways, music is often all you think about, your walking pace is from the song you hear...you can play an entire song in your head..you can play several instruments as well.
I myself can play drums..a little haha..and I play guitar and some bass stuff. My guitar..if you know me at all can be said to be like my baby and if you do know me you know how I am. I'll be having the time of my life and I'll see my guitar and be like..actually i want to do that now..bye. My guitar is like a gateway, it can take me from anymood..anywhere..anytime to my own little world, stress free and happy. When I play I completly zone out, i hear nothing but music and honestly you could prolly talk to me and get not even a glance back from me. My stare is distant..yet I cant see anything, almost like I am in another world and all you see is an animated corpse.
My absolute favorite thing to do is play music with my friends, take the best from my own little reality and take my great friends from the real world and mash them together....it's my own drug...but it isn't a bad one..and I dont get high at all..but i'm sure you know what I mean. Unfortunatly I'm usually the only one that is really available to jam, everyone else has plans or something. Thats fine though I have this great friend called "iPod" that I can plug into my guitar amp and play along with whenever I feel like it. I do write my own lyrics too, I have one set in another blog and more sets I keep to myself. If anyone wants to get together sometime just let me know, I'd be happy to zone out with you.
Remember...when someone is sleep walking you dont wake them, and when i'm in my world..dont pull me out of it unless you've got something to add or say thats just not rambling because your pulling me from my personal heaven.
