Thank God it is the weekend!

I am hoping to start getting a few people to add me as a friend. I feel like a loser every time I come to this site and see "no friends." I have a lot of friends in real life, so it isn't like I'm a freak or weird. Well, I guess I could come across weird to some. It's all good though. Tonight I planned a surprised birthday party for my hubby's 40th. He has no clue either. I feel so evil just for keeping something from him. Good thing it isn't a bad secret, I'd be singing like a bird. I can't lie and my honesty is something I am proud of. Besides, I'm too old to lie or remember if I did or not, so I don't, it's easier that way. Plus, I was raised Catholic. I don't believe in the Catholic religion completely. I have many different beliefs but growing up Catholic, I felt they made me feel like if you lie, you go to hell. Maybe it is just me, but confession scared the hell out of me too. Plus, what is saying prayers after confession suppose to fix everything bad you did or just confessed? Aren't you just supposed to ask for forgiveness? Things that make you go hmmmmm? I am obviously bored but I am begging, add me as a friend and save me from feeling like a loser. Please.... Have a great weekend all! Iowasweetie

Whatever I feel like writing.....

First, I want to finish explaining a few things about my favorite band Nonpoint: There albums are: All of Nonpoint’s Almbums: 1.Vengeance Premiered 11/6/07 Bieler Bros. 2.Live and Kicking Premiered 11/7/06 Bieler Bros 3.To the Pain Premiered 11/8/05 Bieler Bros. 4.Recoil Premiered 8/3/04 Lava 5.Recoil [Clean] Premiered 8/3/04 Lava 6.Accompaniment [DVD] Premiered 9/10/02 MCA 7.Development [Bonus Track] Premiered 8/26/02 Universal If you feel like checking out some new music, give them a listen. I was hooked from the first song I remember hearing by them, "Bullet With A Name On It." I think I came across it by assicent too. Weird how life works. I do love tons of many different songs. Here is what you'd hear if you listened to my MP3 Player: Slipknot, Johnny Cash, D4L, Lil Wayne, Bo Diddly, Tim McGraw, Disturbed, Stonesour, Black Eyed Peas, Lady GaGa, Eminem, All American Rejects, Pink, Rob Thomas, Ray Charles, Ludacris, Missy Elliott, Bob Marley, Bone-Thugs-and Harmony, Taylor Swift, Faith Hill, Marilyn Manson, Kid Rock,Sharon Little, Prince, .....I think you get the point, I love all types. If anyone actually got a hold of my MP3 player and listened, they would wonder who in the hell listens to such a mix of shit. LOL I never once told anyone I was "normal." I love Green Day's "Time Of Your Life." I think the words are amazing and they managed to sum up your entire life, what happens, etc. in one song. What else blows me away (of course Nonpoint first and formost, duh by now), would be Slipknot and Stonesour (same singer). Not so much the singing, although I like it, but if you really listen to the words, especially if you can find "Omega" you will be blown away. At least I was. Being the poet type I am, words mean everything, so I really hear that before I notice the music. (Stone Sour) Corey Taylor is brillant and I have not found any artist that gives me goose bumps like his words. My discribtion wouldn't do him justice at all. You will just have to check it out for yourself and see what I mean. I love "OMEGA" because it is more like a poem versus a song and his way of putting words together are so amazing and totally messed up too. Still all brilliant. I imagine it isn't for everyone, but if you are the type to who listens to words to the songs before hearing the music, then it is worth checking them out. If not, don't bother. (You wouldn't understand then). My new favorite cd is Shinedown's "The Sound of Madness" is one of the best "new" cds to come out in a long time. Each song blew me away and unlike a lot of other bands, not one song sounds like any of their others. I love it and each song rocks! Check them out when you get a chance. I guess this is it for now. It's 3:17 a.m. and I guess sleep would be a good idea. More to come! ~~ Iowasweetie~~ (September 9, 2009) Another amazing song/poem by
