New releases & Chicago Bulls tonight!

Last night I listened to the new record from The Wanted. I think that it is there best record that they have recorded so far. I hope I get the chance to see them next April. It featured a lot of slow songs, and those are my favorite. Tonight I get to go watch the Chicago Bulls vs The Indiana Pacers. I'm excited cause it has been almost a year since I've been to the United Center. I always walk in and look at all the people, and it blows my mind. The fact that all those people are there for the exact same reason. I hope to take some cool pictures, and even though this is a music site, I'll try to post some later!

New Releases

Over the weekend I got the chance to listen to a few new records and I thought I would share my opinion. First of is Avril Lavinge's new record Avril. I was really impressed and it could possibly be my favorite record of hers so far. I really enjoyed the duet she did with Marilyn Manson and her husband. Second is ARTPOP. I first thought it wasn't great, but as time went on it got way better. My favorite song BY FAR would be 'dope'. Overall I am someone who enjoys slower songs compared to fast dance songs ( although again I love all music). Dope is a piano ballad, which is defiantly my favorite song at the moment.

More about me & why I love live music.

I love going to shows and concerts frequently. I think that getting an opportunity to see music be performed in an enchanted fashion with visuals is an amazing thing, compared to just hearing it on your computer or on a record. I hope that one day I can get a job in the area of music photography, because photos create memories and memories last a lifetime. In my head, when I enter a venue (whether it be for a concert, sports game or live theater) I am in a room with people who are there for the exact same reason as me. Some of the things that I have witnessed have been breath taking. Leaving arenas when I can barley hear anything is a sign that a show was fantastsic, and the next day when I can't talk means I screamed as loud as I possibly could've. After a show I always go check twitter to see if any crowd photos were posted and I look for my face. If I find it, I know that I was part of a moment, and part of something special. I hope that one day I can captivate people with my live music photography. Whether it be a crowd of 100 at a local festival, or with 20,000 other people in a huge arena. The energy could come from the team scoring a basket in basketball, or screaming "One more song" for an encore. We are all there for the exact same reason, and we are all alike.I feel overjoyed whenever confetti falls from the ceiling or at the end of a popular hit when everyone begins to scream. I live in the moment. A moment that I experienced in May, I was leaving a show with general admission floor, and I left a few songs early with my friend. As I turn around, I see a whole floor of people jumping and singing. It was an amazing sight, and I will never forget that moment, when I looked down and saw all of those people there for the exact same reason that I was. The previous month of April, I was at the Maroon 5 show, and they had everyone bring out there phones and turn on LED lights. I looked around and saw all of the lights in the air and it was just a moment that I will never forget. I love photography in general, because I know that I will remember things better with photos.

First Entry

So I've been on Reverbnation for a while now, but I spent a lot of time yesterday exploring the site, and getting a bit more familiar with it. I enjoy all kinds of music, and concerts. A local band that I saw brought me to this website, so I made an account. I don't have any followers yet, so I don't know if this will ever get read. I see tons of shows, and hopefully later today I will find some time to upload some photos from those shows to share. I stayed up yesterday just listening to bands music. I'll probably post again later today!!
