I am in most areas an autodidact

I am in most areas an autodidact or self-taught person, who has acquired many skills in a number of areas with no education, but added them through experience and practical exercise.

Already as a child I started to draw and that I've done my whole life, in greater or lesser extent, as an illustrator, newspaper cartoonist and more

It has been one part of my life, in addition to this, a great part of my life I have loved to express myself in writing. This has resulted in many different texts, and I've worked with freelance journalism in different contexts.

I have also worked in publishing as a typographer and graphic designer  and have had the pleasure to meet many writers and others who have inspired me and, not the least, given me knowledge.

History and especially local history and genealogy are among my major interests.

The music has always been close to me, but never in the practical sense, although I tried my hands at a number of instruments in my younger days. However, I have had the pleasure of meeting many musicians and their music has given me inspiration, not the least for drawings.

Theatrical performances, with emphasize on humourous revues and skits, has also been one of my fields of interest and in shorter periods I have had the opportunity to work with local shows and other smaller local productions in various contexts.

I have also had the opportunity to work as a radio presenter and through that, I have met many people and last, but not least been able to broadcast music through the airwaves.

Writes daily in Norwegian, but understand some in English.
