WAYS TO KEEP PROMOTING CELTIC THUNDER - ASSIGNMENT

We could use you help with the following tasks to keep promoting Celtic Thunder. We only have the generic fliers to hang up and hand out but hopefully soon we'll have the dated ones and then we can really go to town on those! In the meantime, wear concert shirts, keep calling all PBS stations in Texas and go to the record/discount/ electronics/Borders, etc. stores in your area and tell them they'll be having a _/*SENSATIONAL*/_ new DVD and CD come July 14 that's going to sell like crazy! Talk to the store managers and find out who does their merchandising. Please get names and phone numbers. Emails are easier to ignore than phone calls. Let's keep promoting Celtic Thunder and the upcoming fall tour. Thank you all for your assistance.

KERA Pledge Drive

KERA - Dallas is showing the Celtic Thunder Take Me Home Pledge Drive August 9, 2009. The time is either 8:00 or 8:30. Get your credit cards ready.

Celtic Thunder Take Me Home Fliers

I have put the new fliers under the photo tab. Please start printing these out. You can now start handing them out and posting them everywhere you can. If you have a problem printing them, please advise me further and I will send you a link for these photos.

If you have not already ordered your street team shirt, please order as soon as possible so that we all look professional when we are going out and hanging the fliers or handing them out to everyone.

Thank you again for your assistance and let's get out there and promote Celtic Thunder.

IT"S TIME FOR ALL OF YOU TO CALL YOUR LOCAL PBS STATIONS

There will be a DVD of that show and a brand new CD for pledges for JUNE. The CD and DVD will be available for retail in mid-July. Come on everyone! Let's make those PBS STATIONS feel "THE THUNDER"!!!!!

Texas Street Team Assignment

We have a lot of festivals happening over the next few months. Your assignment is to try to go to one of the festivals close to you and hand out the flier we have for now. If you need a copy of the flier, please email me and I will forward the link to you. Once we have the fall tour dates, we will have new fliers to take and hand out. Below is a list of festivals that I could find. If you know of other Celtic gatherings, please advise me further. The Ifest in Houston is promoting Ireland this year. Those going this weekend or next, please take some fliers and pass them out. We can use some local residents to assist us handing out fliers. Please wear your Celtic Thunder shirts. If you need a copy of the flier, please email me. Hope to see you all there.

Texas Street Team Assignment

We all need to start promoting Cetlic Thunder and here are a few suggestions that we can start working on. You can print out fliers to be handed out in schools, churches, and other community organizations. You can start rallying CT fan clubs in schools and churches. You can make your myspace page help bring other new fans over to the state myspace and reverbnation websites. Go to my photos on my myspace page (www.myspace.com/cttexasstreetteam)and you will find the CT flyer that you can print out to start posting. If you wish to make a flyer for your area, please email me the flyer and I will have it approved. The fall tour dates should be out within the next month and then we can start posting the tour dates in our areas. Please keep me advised of your progress. Thank you all and let's all get to work.

Message from Celtic Thunder

1) Much talk about "over inflated show prices" going around. AEGlive and Ticketmaster are the only recommended ticket agents to purchase show tickets from. Until the tour list is officially released, ticketmaster "may" forward your request to an outside agent. Everyone should be patient for the tour list to become available, and when released, fans can purchase the show tickets from aeglive or ticketmaster at resonable prices, and are guaranteed a seat at the show. If purchased from a ticket venue other than described, they can not be guaranteed a correct seat, hence it may be from a ticket scalper 2) Commenting the CT Profile and the guys profile is fine, however, if on the street team network, we have to keep a constant level of professionalism to set the standard for existing members and future members of the street team network. "nick" names are not appropriate (ie) "sweetcheeks" "honeybear", etc, to add to anyones profile comment, unless you are on a personal level with that person. 3) I've seen a great deal of thank you for the add on the guys profile(s), which is fine, but everyone should keep in mind, that we use these tools to gain new fans, outside of the existing fans we already have. All the guys are fully aware of what we are doing, and have the full support of all of them

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM SHARON

Hello, There have been rumors going around that a team of fans that will be attending the CT shows, want to be using glowsticks and "clickers" during the performance. I have the official word, that any "noise" that may disrupt the show, will not be permitted, and are asked to stick strickly with glowsticks and small signs if they feel the need to participate. The guys are working VERY hard, in rehersals, to bring their very best on stage, and to deliver new songs for everyone. I would hate to think that their work would be disrupted by "clickers", not to mention everyone around them would be disrupted. Please pass the word along to others, that any type of instrument that would disrupt the guys performance on stage, would not be permitted, not to mention the ushers at the venue might ask the individuals that were "clicking" to leave the venue. Showing the guys that everyone is excited about the show and their performances is excellent, but when it crosses over in to being disrespectful, then such behaivor should be avioded
