Ft Wayne concert

We had tickets in the reserved section for this concert, thank goodness because there is no way that I could have stood in that crowd for 7 hours. But it was still a free for all to get the seats. We were about 6th in line so we made a mad dash for our seats once the gates opened up. This time 3rd row but they were great seats! No rain this time just the hot sun that made my nose even more red from the day before. Julianne Hough was on the stage first, she shock her moneymaker for a few songs. The Lost Trailers were next, they were great and got the party going, may have to ck them out. The only bad thing is that they stopped Gary from going into the top 10 in the BB. Right now not liking them guys, maybe later..... Luke Bryan was next, he is a great performer. He really knows how to enteract with the crowd, he really has good ole country charm! Jeni got a lot of great pictures of him. James Otto was next, he was ok, just not what I had really expected. He did a great job on Just Got Started Loving You. Now all we had to do was wait on THE MAN to come on stage. Heard from some of his band members that he was golfing, wonder what he shot? Anyways, we didn't have to wait very long. Gary was awesome once again, he did the same set list as Maumee, but without the rain of course. The crowd really got into it and they showed Gary and the Guys a lot of love and they gave it right back with a great performance! Gary really rocked and seemed to enjoy himself. He really laughed and smiled a great deal too. Thanks Gary for a great performance and come back to my neck of the woods any time!

Maumee concert

Got there just in time to stand in line to get great seats for about 2 hours. Once the gate opened it was a free for all, we sprinted to our seats, 2nd row center, awesome seats. Now all we had to do was wait for the concert to start. So while we sat there we visited with our neighbors, there were some great party people behind us and a bunch of Junkies in our row, great people!! Just before Rick Huckabee was to kick things off the sky opened up and it poured on us just when I thought that it couldn't get worse it started to hail! What in the world was going to happen next? We all just stood up and cheered even louder for the show to begin. Finally the sun came back out and the show went on just a little late. Rick came on with his accustic guitar and sang a few songs, he was pretty good and very entertaining, it must be very hard to try and get the crowd warmed up that is waiting to see someone else, anyways he did his best. Then came I Fought The Law and everyone went crazy just knowing that Gary was on his way to the stage..Jillybean's son sat in front of us giving us the signs as when to let out great big screams, he was so into it, it was great! Gary played 14 songs before the sky opened up again, here came the rain. We all just cheered and yelled some more so of course he had to sing Songs About Rain, it was awesome! He sang 21 songs in all, ck out the review on the fan club site for the set list or e-mail me and I can send it to you. All in all it was a great concert with great friends some I already knew and some that I will never forget! It was the first concert that I had ever been to where it rained and I can honestly say it was one of the best that I have ever attended! Gary and the Guys were great and I hope that the they know how much the crowd loved them and appreciated their performance! Thanks for spreading the love Gary!!
