BrainStorm

Hello everybody on ReverbNation! I am BrainStorm (Ernie),Multi-Instrumentalist/Composer/Producer for SixStringSurfer.My main instrument is acoustic & electric guitar.The Stratocaster is my favourite axe, thanks to David Gilmour, my favourite guitar player.I also like the Telecaster, Les Paul and that Gretsch guitar David Gilmour sometimes uses.I have been a guitar player in a Pink Floyd Tribute Project and several other bands.Another passion of mine is sound-engineering,mixing,production & mastering.As a teenager I used to sit down and enjoy the versatility and production quality of Beatles and Pink Floyd records.To me, creating cool sounds is as interesting as composing a good piece of music.Since 2003 I collaborate with my friend Vinnie/SixStringSurfer.Our first project was composing music which accompanied the famous "I Have A Dream" speech by Martin Luther King. Influences: Pink Floyd,Beatles,David Gilmour,The Shadows,Jeff Beck,Larry Carlton,John Mayer,Sahara Starr,Shostakovich.
