Abisha Uhl / Press

“From the first chords played by guitarist Kace to the last beat of the drums, Abisha’s set was solid and well executed. The crowd was a clear echo of the great performance, as there was an instant gathering in front of the stage just as the opening number started off. With most originals carrying a stylized indie rock / alternative sound, it was a great unexpected twist when the Jackson 5 cover ‘I Want You Back’ surfaced mid way through the set.”

“It was time for Abisha Uhl to hit the stage … and hit it she did. With a little different approach than songs from Sick of Sarah, Abisha brought a certain sex appeal to her new songs. The set carried a solid power punch but held tight to that intimate connection with the crowd at The Entry. The performance was great and really foretelling of the great music to come from Abisha’s solo venture. Judging from the crowds response, there was definite approval and no disappointment … and how could there be … with Abisha’s new sound backed by a host of hand picked local artists, the performance was great. Wild and hot, Abisha kept it real, inviting, and personal which made the performance easy to love.”

“Abisha is the real deal. This is a true working musician who sings writes and plays for real. She is my friend and she rocks.”
